Understanding pain can fundamentally shift how we experience and perceive it.
To assist you in better managing your pain, I'
Ongoing and severe pain affects about 80% of people, and it's important to remember that you are not alone in this journey.
Pain is an integral part of the human experience, but there are ways to help you manage it.
Understanding pain can fundamentally shift how we experience and perceive it.
To assist you in better managing your pain, I'd like to guide you through five steps:
- Pain Education: Providing you with the latest scientific knowledge on pain in a practical, understandable way.
- Movement and Exercise: Gradual movement and targeted exercises will help you regain confidence in movement and prevent further body deconditioning.
- Brain Training: This includes techniques like mindfulness, meditation, graded motor imagery, journaling, breathwork and kinesiology, which can help unravel unhelpful thoughts and uneasy feelings associated with pain.
- Explain Pain: Understanding fear cycles and recurrent flare-ups, and why pain may persist.
- Breaking Unhelpful Habits and Establishing Healthy Ones: This involves improvements in sleep, exercise, nutrition, and stress management.

Natalia Lewinska (Director)
With over a decade of experience in physiotherapy and a passion for holistic health, Natalia brings a unique blend of expertise to her practice.
Natalia graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland in 2009 with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy. She then worked as a full-time physiotherapist for over 5 years before relocating to Perth in 2014. Once in Perth, Natalia underwent bridging Australian qualifying examinations whilst continuing her career in private practice.
Since then, Natalia has gained a wealth of experience in assessing and treating a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. In 2014, she became a credentialed McKenzie Therapist, which led to her special interest in treating acute, chronic, and complex lumbar, thoracic, and cervical pain for which the McKenzie method is renowned.
Natalia also has a special interest and a wealth of experience in Clinical Pilates, having completed full Pilates teacher training certification through Studio Pilates International. She also underwent a DMA Clinical Pilates instructor course, leading her to become a DMA-certified Clinical Pilates instructor. Through her experience, training, and pure passion, Natalia is extremely skilled at using Clinical Pilates as a very effective and powerful treatment method to achieve specific clinical outcomes.
Natalia’s high level of hands-on skills has been complemented by her additional training and experience in dry needling and remedial massage including lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, and deep tissue massage. Natalia has a Diploma in Remedial Massage from the Australian College of Sports and Fitness and is well-versed in trigger point release and sports massage.
Natalia has a passion for exercise, health, and education. She loves creating and implementing graduated exercise rehabilitation programs geared toward helping people return to a normal life they can enjoy once again. Her Certificate III and IV in Fitness also help her to serve people better.
It is worth noting that Natalia has experience working in the aged care sector, enabling her to acquire skills and knowledge, particularly in the risk assessment for falls and treating elderly patients with dementia and mobility issues. Working with and helping seniors is something Natalia enjoys and finds very rewarding.
Natalia's commitment to integrated and holistic healthcare led her to delve into the realm of kinesiology. With a firm belief in addressing the comprehensive biopsychosocial treatment model, she pursued and attained a Diploma in Kinesiology. Her profound interest lies in utilizing this complementary health discipline as an effective tool to assist individuals in overcoming chronic pain, complex diseases, and stress. Kinesiology sessions, characterized by their gentle nature, ensure comfort and support natural healing.
